Make Ahead Blueberry Apple Pie

Make, don't bake, freeze! Thanksgiving can be overwhelming! With everything on that prep list, let's take pies off! Frozen pies ensure crispy golden crust, so this year say see ya later to soggy bottoms!

2 cups of frozen organic blueberries
2 Golden Delicious apples, 1/2-inch dice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small cubes

Directions: In a large bowl combine blueberries, apples, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, lemon juice. Stir to combine and set aside. Lay pie crust on the bottom of a pie pan and fill with your filling. Top with the butter cubes and create a lattice. Seal and freeze.

When ready to bake preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brush with egg wash and bake for 35 minutes.
