2 large eggs
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
12 tablespoons butter, room temperature
1½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
1 cup walnuts, plus extra for serving, chopped
Vanilla bean ice cream
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the eggs on high speed until light and foamy. Add the flour and both sugars and beat until combined. Add the butter and beat until completely mixed. Mix in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the pie crust and top with the walnuts.
Bake for 1 hour. Let cool slightly.
Serve warm with vanilla bean ice cream and walnuts.
