Fruit punch for the kids and Fre punch for the mamas expecting kids! I can’t get over the cuteness, if I do say so myself! These DIY dino feet made for the perfect drink dispenser signs at Cooper’s birthday party, and this mama punch is delicious!
I remember when I was pregnant with Cooper and finding it hard to find good non-alcoholic drink options, particularly when at a large social gathering. Because of my experience, I am determined to provide a fun punch when I host! I have three great friends that are currently pregnant and so I wanted to provide something fun for them to drink. I think it is a wonderful gesture, and providing Fre bubbly alongside a Fre punch shows my love!
diy Dino Feet Signs
So let’s start with these cute feet! Take a look below at the before! I found these “boys only” signs at Hobby Lobby. I thought, how ridiculous, but how perfect if I could paint over them! I walked down the aisle and across the store to find a drink dispenser that the ribbon connected to the dino foot would fit over. When I got home I spray painted the feet with green and teal, making it a tie-dye ombre look! I then cut white vinyl with my Cricut machine for the words!
I have mentioned before, and I will say it again, when shopping for decor or party supplies I do not see color, because I know anything can be painted! I am a big fan of spray paint and this is a great example of that!
So what is in my Fre punch? Let me tell you a bit about it! First of all, if you don’t know about Fre, you are missing out! What is so neat about Fre is that it IS wine. This is not a sugary juice that you try and trick yourself into drinking. Fre is made in Northern California and the flavors and aromas take you straight to a beautiful vineyard. To make Fre, winemakers use the revolutionary spinning cone column to remove alcohol while preserving the delicate fragrances and flavors of the wine.
The finished product is a fresh, delicious beverage with all of the characteristic aromas and flavors of premium wine, but with less than 0.5% alcohol and half the calories of traditional wine. Basically, this is a win-win! My favorite Fre bottle is their sparkling brut. It is my go-to for baby shower gifts, see my post here on how to swaddle a bottle, and it was my go-to last summer to beat the heat!
2 to 3 cups sweetened iced tea (chilled) I used Oberweis Iced Tea and Lemonade Blend. It comes in a glass bottle. Any sweetened iced tea would be great! Provides a nice lemon tone.
1 bottle Fre Moscato (chilled). The decadent alcohol-removed Moscato opens with gorgeous aromas of rose petals and peaches, framed by a palate of sweet, creamy flavors and a lovely, lingering finish
1 (16-ounce) bag of frozen peaches
Combine all ingredients in drink dispenser. Begin with just 2 cups of the iced tea and add the 3rd cup, depending on how sweet you would like your punch. Chill until ready to serve. Serve over ice!
* Add a little sparkling soda water if you would like, for a variation!
We also served Fre’s sparkling brut and I will be sharing with you our bubbly bar pictures soon! This post is sponsored by Fre Wines. The content and opinions expressed here are my own.
