Pumpkin Dump Cake

  • 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree

  • 1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin-pie spice

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 (15.25-ounce) box yellow cake mix

  • 1 stick butter, cut into slices

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Whipped cream


  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix together pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, brown sugar pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Pour in baking dish. Sprinkle cake mix over the top and top with butter slices. Mix together slightly.

  3. In a small bowl, combine pecans and cinnamon. Pour over cake.

  4. Bake for 50 minutes, until cake is golden.

  5. Let the cake cool, scoop out and serve with whipped cream!
