Summer is here and that means ROSE season!! As you all know, I am pregnant with my second baby and due in August. I don’t want to miss out on the pink sipping season and luckily I don’t have to! Fre alcohol-removed Rosé is here! This is not juice my friends, this is wine! Just no alcohol. So let me tell you more.
Wine is made from fermented grapes. Fermentation converts sugar into alcohol, while retaining the complex aromas and flavors of the grape variety. Fre is made using traditional winemaking methods; then the alcohol is gently removed. Grape juice, on the other hand, is the unfermented juice of grapes. It is much sweeter than wine because it does not undergo the fermentation process. This tastes, smells, feels like the real deal. When the wine essences are reintroduced to the dealcoholized base wine and blended with un-fermented grape juice the finished product is a fresh, delicious beverage with the characteristic aromas and flavors of premium wine. Long story short it is absolutely perfect for expecting mamas and I just LOVE IT!
Fre has less than 0.5% alcohol by volume and half the calories of regular wine. With an average of just 70 calories per standard 8 oz. serving, Fre is a refined alternative to soda or juice. Another reason to RUN, don’t walk, to your nearest store and get a bottle!
Fre alcohol-removed Rosé is a delicate, pink-hued wine, with lively strawberry and citrus flavors. The palate is crisp and fruity, with ripe berry accents and a beautiful, refreshing finish. Perfect with grilled fish, summer salads, and even some sweet treats like ice cream and pie!
